We purchased a 6m diameter yurt from 'Yurt Specialists' 2 years ago for 'Theatre on the Farm' near Thame in Oxfordshire. The yurt has proven to be a unique and special space for a variety of activities - singing groups, acting workshops, counselling sessions, yoga and meditation sessions, an amazing backdrop and 'set' for outdoor theatre productions. We bought the 4.2 diameter ex-show yurt from yurt specialist and it’s been a great experience from start to finish. The yurt was immaculate and beautifully wrapped. The level of excellent craftsmanship of the components is outstanding. The wooden trellises and roof poles are carefully crafted and the crown has lovely hand painted traditional designs. The green and gold door is a delight! All the canvas covers are sewn, strong and durable, well insulated which we have tested during a Greek heatwave. The level of customer support has been outstanding, in terms of response and service. We thoroughly recommend both their yurts and the company. We have even named our new stray kitten Genghis, as we were thrilled to discover the key fob on the door had an image of Genghis Khan.

I bought two 6-meter yurts from Yurt Specialists, and I couldn’t be happier with the quality and service. The build is excellent - the wood they use is beautifully rounded and incredibly strong. One of the things that makes their yurts stand out is that they don’t require a central support post for the crown, which leaves the inside open and spacious - a big advantage compared to many other designs.
What impressed me most was their support during the installation. It was my first time setting up a yurt, and I had a lot of questions. Every time I called, they answered right away and guided me through everything with patience and care. That level of after-sale support is rare and truly appreciated.
